New Mexico State Records maintains information concerning the following subject matters: Criminal Records, Court Records, Vital Records and State Background Checks, including information in the number of over 20 million proper public records.

New Mexico State Records offers access to information collected from as far back as the year 1621 from 33 counties; thereby continuing to ensure New Mexico abides by the commitment of the United States of America to remain a “fair and just” society for all.
